Amy Norgren Salfi
Chief Growth Officer, AetherForge
Amy focuses on growing AetherForge by developing strategic partnerships, nurturing innovative service offerings, and fostering strong client relationships. See still gets a thrill when she opens a new RFP and our credentials match the government requirements perfectly. Amy spent more than three decades at Booz Allen Hamilton, serving as s senior leader in the Civilian business.  She led large, multi-disciplinary teams delivering services in environmental policy and regulation, government program management and implementation, emergency management, resilience, IT strategy, organizational management, IT infrastructure support, and modern software development. She has been primarily focused on civilian agencies that protect our environment and natural resources, such as EPA, Department of Interior, FEMA, and US Forest Service, with experience across the Civilian sector and in parts of Defense.  Amy is most fulfilled when helping government leaders implement new programs, transform stalled programs, and optimize technology solutions. Her way of working is through inspired collaboration — bringing the best and the brightest together in unique ways to address our nation’s toughest challenges. To that end, Amy is diving into her role as the Industry Chair of the ACT-IAC Resilient Infrastructure Community of Interest with both enthusiasm and a sense of urgency.

Off Duty
  • Amy sings with friends in cover bands, at karaoke and open mics, and in the Georgetown Corale.  Harmonizing with other humans is a proven way to release endorphins.  She is quite certain that creative focus trains the brain to be open to new ideas, and ready for what is next.
  • Since Perplexity and ChatGPT have rolled out their latest versions, Amy spends an inordinate amount of time working though IT problems and home appliance repairs that used to flummox her. Years of RFP reviews have taught her (if nothing else) how to read directions really well.
  • Amy is a massive figure skating fan. Her favorite figure skaters are those who know exactly what they excel at and do those few things perfectly. AetherForge follows that guiding principle as well.
CGO Quote

"You don’t have to be perfect at everything.  Pick the things you do quite well, and then do those things the very best of all."
